Ever since i started keeping egg feeders i have this huge problem with dead ff in the broms and film canisters. The ff are attractive to the water, and they end up drowning themselves. Anyone else have this problem besides me, and is there a way to solve it? I tried cutting up slits on the side of the film canister so that i can flush out the dead ff, but that takes a very very long time. You also have to be careful not to flush out the tads.

They can also be a potential food source for tadpoles, maybe not so much with D. pumilio, but you never know. Tadpoles are also really tolerant of water conditions so I wouldn't worry about it.

Best,
