anyone know if there will be a good selection of dart frogs at the long island reptile expo on october 23rd? i have never been there before and am wondering what its like. i was planning on holding off on getting some frogs till then cause i heard prices are super low at these things, it will also give my viv some time to grow in.

There will be a couple of vendors at the show, but not many as the white plains show. I believe the next White Plains show is Sunday Sept 11th.

yea i was thinking of going to that show, only thing is i literally just finished up with my viv and i wanted a good month or two before adding any herps to get things grown in and microfauna producing, also its alot farther away from me. do you think its worth it though? i am undecided on whether to get leucs, auratus or azureus so its not like im looking for anything rare. i will prolly make a decision once there one which ones i like and may even be picking up a pair of two different types, one fore my new tank and one for my 38 long that currently has nothing in it. do you think i could find these species at the long island show?
Your better off at the white plains show, the only vendor is Tim Heath at the li show who has darts. He's also at the white plains show.

I agree.... White Plains will be worth the trip. I've been to both, and WP gets my vote hands down.

white plains i go then. is the price for livestock significantly lower?
I would say that for the frogs you want, you tank would be ready by the white plains show for sure. Established microfauna are not as important for lg frogs as for thumbs or pumilio.

I'll be vending at WP.

yea its already been up and runnin almost a week now, i wasnt so much worried that it wouldnt be inhabitable, i just want to make sure im not going to run into future problems. i would rather wait a while and tweek the viv alittle here and there where i see problems then have it happpen when the frogs are in there. Beggers cant be choosers tho:p.
wow, you guys feel that quake like 20 mins ago?
Ill be picking up three varaderos at White Plains. Thank God i live 5 mins away :D
