Dark skin spot

One of our Highland Bronze Auratus appears to have developed a dark spot in between her legs. I haven't noticed this before and appears to have developed suddenly. We have a sexed pair, and she has been acting rather odd lately, and still being new to keeping PDFs, I'm not sure if it was courting or something else. She's been more skittish than normal, eating normally, but has developed a belly (eggs?)...and I don't think it's bloat. We've only had them for about a month now, but are over a year old.

Anyway, I've attached a picture here...the spot is highlighted with a circle. It doesn't appear raised, it's the same texture and level as the rest of her skin. Does anybody have an idea of what this could be? I know about Dr. Frye, but I was wondering if anyone had experiences here.
