Hey guys I'm looking for any information about D. truncatus, I'm looking into them as a possibility for my next darts but I want to know a little more about them, what type of tank they like, are they a good intermediate frog, and who breeds them (I've found a few places).

Hi
truncatus is a very easy frog to keep and breed, they, as a tinctorious group frog are mainly leaf litter frogs, so horizontal tanks are best than vertical (keep those for some thumbnails). females tend to be agressive, it is best to keep more males than females on the tank. I think they´re perfect beginner frogs, and their care is similar as auratus, so if you can read an auratus care sheet it is the same thing.

Luck with them, they are great frogs, a bit shy, but still wonderful
ah, and the call is similar to auratus
