I recently adopted what I was told was a 1:1 pair of frogs. They are 4 years old and lived together in a 18x18x24 since hatching. When I got them I upgraded their enclosure to a 36x18x18 after researching their needs.
They are much more active now and seem happy.
I’m worried they may be 2 females based off what others online suggested. I’ve attached photos below.

It's hard to tell with the angles of your pics. Tincs are pretty prolific breeders though. If you haven't found eggs I'd have to assume they're both female.

They don’t call or have laid eggs to my knowledge. Should they be separated if both are female even though they’ve lived together their whole lives?

I'd say that as long as you don't see any signs of aggression (wrestling frogs) there shouldn't be any issues. If you add a male you may have to separate them

In my experience, the male in an Azureus pair is quite a bit smaller than the female. Yours look to be about the same size, but, pics from directly above and side-by-side would help.

Tonight I witnessed a pounce after a chase across the tank

Yes. They look like 2 females to me. The fact that they've been housed together without courting confirms it for me.
