Some also have red infused on either the thigh, femor, or both and can occur on either both or only one leg.
Customers who have recieved the red and tan Almirante' believe it may actually be Isla San Christobal.

At your request I will hand select frogs for customers ,pack with Baytryl spray and amquel the moss or you may buy direct by calling Strickly Reptiles at 954-967-8310 and having them pick and ship your order for you.

Pics

Unfortunately I did not bring my camera yesterday but may not have really had the oppertunity to photograph at their location. If you've ever been there before the location is a wholesale distribution shop -I managed to get them to stay open 2 hours after closing as it was so it would have been tough to ask more of them.

Shipping

We prefer Delta Dash and offer a live guarentee with them but I am willing to use alternative shipping methods if you assume the risk

Yes there were 500 D. auratus-mostly nominant form and a fair number of the Ancon Hill variety-all packed well and 0 Doas as of yesterday-I picked up some just to stock the store here. I did'nt buy any of the pumilio for myself at this time though.

Let's not get too hasty here trying to pin locales to these pumilio. The almirante are very likely just that. Having a slightly different color on the back legs is little cause to say it is from a different locale. I have been to Isla San Cristobal and have dozens of pictures that would probably convince you otherwise.....like the one on my avatar.

It is very unlikely that the frog farmers would go to 2 different places to collect their parent stock for one morph of frog. Why waste the time? If they call them almirante, that's probably what they are.

It worries me that people will call them "San Cristobal" morph pumilio, and that when some "real" San Cristobal morph come in, that they will get cross-bred. There is already one other morph of pumilio that I think is being mistaken for San Cristobal, but it is not common in the hobby.
