My son saw this on QVC yesterday (I have no idea why a 15 year old is watching QVC...): http://www.qvc.com/asp/frameset.asp...SQ&frames=y&referrer=QVC&txtDesc=Glass+Cutter (appears to be framed... it's item # V14914).
I would love to make my own enclosures. I cut my own glass routinely, but till now have only cut thinner "window replacement" glass.
Obviously, a vivarium needs to be made of something a little thicker.
Anyone have any opinion on the tool referenced here? It was cutting thicker glass as easily as cheese yesterday on their show. But I still doubt that it can cut thick glass that easily.
On the other hand, it is not that expensive so it might be worth giving it a shot.
All comments welcome, thanks.
