Very Interesting. How often does this happen?

Hi Paul,
It may have been eating it's skin. Did it rub its front leg over his head a couple times during and after?

In my experience, every day for growing frogs, every few days for adults. They just do it very, very early in the morning, so not everyone catches them 'in the act' so to speak.

They're not classified as mentally ill untill they start drooling.

It scared me the first time too.

LOL Thanks. Once one of my auratus tryed to jump on a leaf in the *canopy* of the 50 gallon and it landed on it, but not for long. The leaf turned upside-down and the frog was hanging on then fell onto the ferns. LOL I wish i had videotaped it. Im soo glad my computer is 3 feet away from my two tanks. .......now to put the dwarf seahorse tank above the computer. LOL
