Hi picked up a few water hyacinths and water lettuce today from a local fish store. They keep them outside in the pond containers. I'd like to steralize them before I introduce them in the Rain chamber with the frogs. Do you guys think a little soap and warm waer in the sink will do it?

Thanks,

Nick

Nick, a lot of us use a 5 percent bleach solution for a 10 minute dip at room temperature.
Thats one cup of ordinary, household bleach, mixed with 19 cups of water. Soak for 10 minutes. Discard bleach solution as it will not save.

I always use a mild bleach solution when cleaning my plants. Just remember to thoroughly
rinse you plants, then rinse them again for good measure.
