Hey guys, I like to use the little plastic containers that hold plants at lowes or home depot for hides for my froglets. I was wondering what's the best way to clean them? I've recently had a problem in one of my tanks with parasitic worms (nematodes), and have become very cautious on what I put in my tanks and making sure they are clean. I just want to make sure nothing is on them going into a tank. Also are there any good ways to clean plants? For example of I bought some from home depot or something..? Thanks.

I rinse the soil out of the roots and then do a 5% bleach soak for 10 minutes and then rinse really well. Just regular household bleach, 1 part bleach to 20 parts water. Water should be close to room temperature.

Sweet, yeah thats what I heard. I just wanted to be sure. Do you just soak the roots? Or the whole plant?
