Today I picked up a large, cool looking piece of root that will serve as a center piece for my 100gal diamond. It's too large for me to boil it or bake it or microwave it.. How could I disinfect it and clean it ??? Would power washing it and then dosing/scrubbing it with isopropyl do the job? What about the nooks and crannies? What do you guys suggest. It weighs about 10kg and it's very irregular in shape.

thanks for input.

Root

I found that root on a side of the road near a construction. It probably has some residues etc... I'm not really worried about any critters inside, just wanted to get the street crap off of it. I'll scrub it with a brush and hot water, that should be enough.
