I am not sure if this question has been asked before but could not find an anwser to it through a search of past posts. When setting up a false bottom. I will be stting up a false bottom in a 20L viv. I took a 2 inch PVC pipe and cut it down for the spacers and a tube in a corner the height of tank to empty any excess water build up. My question is do you have to clean all the PVC spacers and grid before putiing it together. If you do have to clean it all what do you clean it with a 10% bleach and water solution or what. thanks again

Unless you think its been contaminated with something, I should think just thourgoughly rinsing it with water should be adequate. If you've used it before in a tank where it might have parasites or bacteria, then you may want to sterilize it. Otherwise I dont see the need to bleach it. If you just bought it from the store it should be clean (of at least in a sense of parasites/bacteria etc).
