I've been keeping terrariums of carnivorous plants for a while and was considering adding a dart frog. I hear they can't swim so should I be worried having a heliamphora in there with it?

Aside from any risk of drowning to the frog, dart frogs are forest floor or under canopy creatures, and Heliamphoras grow blasted by intense sun at high elevations. The carnivorous plants that best match the light requirements of dart frogs and present the least risk are Utricularias and Pinguiculas.

I have heard rumors on here and other places of a dart frog species that coexists with Heliamphoras on the tops of tepuis, but after spending a lot of time cross-referencing GBIF with elevation maps and satellite imagery, I have concluded that while some leucs have been found in cloud forests on the way up to tepuis, there are no Dendrobates or Ranitomeya species actually found on top of tepuis.
