Hey, everyone, I hope you're having a great Labor Day weekend! I have taken some time this weekend to finish up some projects . . . including a long-overdo addition of the crown molding to my plywood terrarium. With the recent interest in building plywood terraria, I thought I'd post my (nearly) finished product. It's been up and running for about 19 months now, but the trim is still not quite finished. I have a few pieces of molding to make to wrap around the top, and I'll be making a front opening vivarium that fills the bottom opening. Let me know what you think.

Pics of the building process can be seen at http://www.frognet.org/gallery/album18 .

Thanks for the support, everyone! It has housed a nice colony of New River tincs for a little under a year and a half now. The entire front glass sits in a channel, so it's a sliding front opening tank--which is really nice if you can logistically get one to work in an area for you.

This was actually my first frog tank--pieced together from scraps since cash was tight when I was in school--and I made a deal with my wife. She would let me keep frogs if the tank I put them in looked like a natural piece of furniture in the house. Little did she know that the intro to darts would only open the door to several more containers and frogs. Yup, I was bitten hard, and it hasn't let go yet. :D
