Hi,

I have brom's attached to the background of my new viv, they are in the small pots I put into the GS when I constructed the BG.

Some of the leaves on a couple of the brom's are dying. Any ideas why??

Hrer are a couple of pics

humidity level in the tank could be low, or you might not be watering them enough.

Lighting?

And how many hours are your lights on?

Just thought I'd chime in besides possibly too low of humidity or possibly too wet.

Lights are on about 14 hrs. I just installed a mister so the humidity has gone up I have the mister on 10 seconds every 8 hours.

There is condensation on the glass and the plant leaves stay wet for the better part of the 8 hours between misting.

It could be a couple things.... It almost looks like the some of the leaf tips were burned and then the burned areas rotted from the high moisture. Bromeliads like Neoregelias need to have their foliage dry out from standing water within a few hours save for the cups. The cups can stay full.

I would say it could be getting old as old ones do that but it doesn't seem like you've gotten any pups yet so it can't be that old....
