I got some Hydrocotyle Umbellata (PennyWort) from a buddy of mines and the pond he had it in was dirty, was wondering if its possible to do a 1:19 bleach solution for the plant? if not, what another way to clean the plant before throwing it into the vivarium.. thanks for any advices..

I've used bleach 1 cup to 4g of water to clean anubias and it works great, you give it a good rinsing under running water, that said pennywort has much thinner leaves and might not stand up to bleach. I would try it on a sample stem and watch it for a few days to see how it holds up.

I found this thread expecting it to be about the leaves turning white. I have some growing in a vivarium and the leaves keep turning white.
