I have a bunch of eggs ready to hatch and I'm getting things ready. The only blackwater extract I could find was the Nutrafin kind. It says to use 10mL for every 10gallons of water. How much do you guys normally use for tads?

Thanks

I think very few of us actually measure. I would just add enough to bring it to the color of iced tea.

It might be pretty hard to overdose the stuff. Just make sure the water is not so brown you can't see through it haha.

the color of a weak tea is safe, not too dark. i personally don't use it and fellow contacts of mine don't use it. very mised reviews from good to junk depending on who you talk too.
i go the safe and natural route. i collect oak leaves from safe non pesticide yards and simply put one to two leaves in each tadpole cups. works amazing for me.
but if using the extract i'd just be extra careful. very weak color is better than dark.
good luck and keep us posted.
