How is your tank setup? Foam? background? etc.
I have foam, so I just cut a little slit and popped in the stolon. If it didn't stay I used a bamboo skewer on each side and crossed them passed the brom, just proping it up. Once rooted I'll remove them.
If you don't have foam, then I don't have experience, I assume you'll need to drill some holes for the stolons if its wood.
