This is the second clutch from a young pair of Azureus. Their first clutch was laid Easter Sunday, two good eggs. There of pictures of them in my album. This clutch was laid April 5th, four eggs all of which are bad. Can anyone tell me if these eggs got moldy or if they weren’t fertilized? I just pulled them tonight (April 7th 2am EST) as I wanted to give the male sufficient time to work is magic. This is also my first time posting a picture so I hope it works.

Thanks,
Matt

I've had that happen to a lot of clutches. I'm pretty sure that it's' just that the eggs are unfertilized, since the white spots are on the yolk itself and not on the outside. Maybe try leaving the eggs in the viv longer?

Hey Matt,
Just give it some time. It takes frogs a while to "get it right". After my first 2 good clutches of cobalts they produced bad eggs like yours for about 3 months. Very disheartening. However all of a sudden they started producing good ones. Now I'm drowning in tadpoles.
So just be patient. I doubt your doing something wrong. Your not the one fertilizing them, they are.
