I have a trio of D. Auratus and I heard SOMEONE call yesterday, and heard them again about 15 minutes ago. I haven't been able to identify which frog it is because it's been a case of hearing it and then looking. Anyway......I know that eggfeeders can raise their young to froglets, but what about Auratus? Can they raise their own young, or do eggs have to be pulled? If they can raise their own young, what will they need to do this successfully. There's a small water fall in my tank but it goes directly into the false bottom, there's no pool.

They will care for the eggs and transport tadpoles to a pool of water, but after that they don't do anything else to raise them

Dunno how much bringing back topics from the dead is appreciated but do auratus use bromeliads for tads?

My auratus do not broms. A petri dish or a any plastic lid seems to be satisfactory. They also deposit multiple tads in the same dish.
