There is an Ashland KY Reptile Expo this weekend (9/10/2011) at the KYOVA Mall. I will be vending. I will have plant clippings, poison dart frogs, tads, and supplies. For anyone who is able to go this should be a good time. I was there the last time it came to Ashland, KY and there was quite a bit to see. There were plenty of good deals to be had on a variety of stuff there in May and I think it will probably be even better this time around.

If anybody needs a particualar item, frog, tad, et. please just let me know and I will try to bring requested items.

DendroRachel - I have a little bit of a variety for this weekend.

azureus - Nabors line, 1-2 months OOW
green and bronze - Sean Stewart line, 3 months OOW
cobalts - Nabors line, 4 months OOW
variabilis - INIBICO line, 1-2 months OOW

I also have tads of pretty much the same variety.

deboardfam - Allen won't be making it this weekend. He has a wedding to attend.

I will also have a variety of plant clippings (really cheap on most of these). I have been making some of the glow in the dark (viv safe) mushrooms as well. We have some cottage craft frog artwork and jewelry pieces made by Mrs. Tomdarr that look pretty cool. The list of things seems to get bigger every time I look at it. I may need to bring a box truck to haul it all if I bring everything.

Tomdarr - I actually have those same lines for my azureus and auratus :/ I'm trying to stick with different lines to diversify their bloodlines. I'm not quite ready to get any new frogs anyways though, mine are all still juvies or subadults and i want to wait to see what genders i need to buy/trade

Seriously? What the crap.. Zoomie is coming and my wife just informs me that we arent gonna make it and its about 10 mins from my house. We have to visit family in Columbus. A chance to meet zoomie woulda been cool.

Dang family ! lol I too would have loved to get together and chat.

It looks like they'll have another one in January. I wouldn't mind coming up for that one too, as long as we don't have major ice to deal with.

We are off in the toolies and dont have any close shows. I did Charlotte and liked it in spite of only seeing one frog vendor. Also, I got taken out at the last minute for Raliegh when my wife wanted to do a favor for someone. The next closest is Atlanta I guess.

Looks like y'all will just have to adopt me!

The show was a lot of fun today. Lots of nice people and tons of lizards, snakes, turtles... the list goes on and on. I would definitely recommend that anybody with kids try to go to one of these types of shows. You end up seeing a fantastic variety of animals and I saw a lot of kids walking around today with that wide eyed stare of interest at each new table. Very cool stuff indeed.
