A HD close to me has several new species of decorative ivy, with nice small foliage, and I was thinking that they would make some cheap ground cover for standard 10s. Will most species of ivy do well under typical viv conditions?

I tried it once and it died rather quickly. I know my was to wet for it so if you have a dryer area it my do good there.

I have had ivy in three of my vivs for two months now.
It is growing great! I had some in another tank that died. It was in the back of the tank and did not get much light. That might have been the problem though.

But, the Ivy that I have bought from Home Cheap'O has been doing great.
I am about to trim it back too.

I have a couple of varieties of ivy in several frog vivs and it seems to be doing fine. I suspect I'll be needing to keep it in check soon enough.
