I covered the species most sought after and I know I didn't cover them all as the options were getting long. I would have to say D. lamasi 'standard, closely followed by D. variabilis and then D. amazonicus 'red'. I'm partial to the all and my goal is to obtain specimens from all of the D. quinquevittatus group within the next 5 years (hopefully sooner).

I voted for other since I would love to get D. vanzolinii or D. biolat. I also already have some of the ones listed, so I had to pass on ones I would have wanted as my first thumbnail. Since I won't be getting either of the 2 I listed above anytime soon, I could have also easily gone with standard lamasi... they are so nice.

I have to go with the D. amazonicus on this one. They are slowing moving up my lit very fast! Very cool.

IMO it will be hard to improve on imitators I already have so my as well get one very close to them,intermedias.

Intermedius or Retics, I voted for retics. Both such awesome looking little frogs...maybe one day I will get some!

Being that I have variabilis and will be getting retics in a few months, it was definately lamasi(standard). After that would be intermedius.

I just recieved my retics so I guess I would have to go with the intermedius. Which I should be recieving before to long.

Hmmm.....

I had to ponder long about this one. I chose other since the one I want most is the actual D. quinquevittatus. Not the vents called this in Germany, but the actual one described from the type locality specimen. They aren't the most beautiful frog but they are certainly interesting looking. D. flavovittatus and duellmani are a close second....followed by the retics. Yeah, retics are beautiful.

Though this could potentially be a tough question. I have to say Intermedius are my number one desired dart frog period. I should actually be getting a group within a few months, hopefully. So if everything goes all well, I should have these beautiful frogs within my grasps soon enough.

I agree with Mark. My first thumbnails were imitators and I would have to go with close relative intermedius.

Retics are my favorite frog I have by far! For a first thumbnail i would go with imitator or intermedius though!
