Ok i read debated forums everywhere.. but lets ask and talk about it again. What is the best type of moss to have spread and cover the bottom of a tank / also the fastest growing? also what is the best kind to climb and cover peat moss covered background?

Show pictures if you can and how long it took to cover the bottom of your tank

Leaf litter is always better than a moss carpet. The moss carpet is for you... not the frogs. The moss just can't sustain as much microfauna as the leaf litter can. If you really insist though, the best mosses from my experience are Java Moss, Christmas Moss, and Riccia (not a moss, but a liverwort). The are plenty of other options but these seem to be the most commonly available. They all need plenty of humidity and should be misted often.
