Hey,

I suspect that one of my pums in quarantine has some type of constipation or something. It's a beautiful female but lately she hasn't been herself. Are there any solutions for the fecally challenged frogs? Is pedialite the way to proceed? How and in what dilution?

but seriously, any advice will be appreciated, I don't want to loose my fecally impacted basti.

i have used pedialyte/pedialite for giving back the electrolites that frogs have lost.
do your frogs like prunes?????
i know when my friend wants his tortisies to go he soaks them in warm water and they go. but unsure about frogs. i guess it wouldn't hurt since it would be only water.

Pedialyte, the unflavored kind, is pretty good for dehydration. I will often soak my frogs in it for an hour or so if I think they need it, or have gone through some stressful events (such as shipping).
It may or may not help with the constipation. I don't think it will hurt though.
