Ok I have a 55 with 3 sub-adult g+b (7-8 mo old) and I have 4 g+b's (~3 mo old) that I want to add to the 55. I've had the younger 4 for 2 months and all are healthy but they are about 1/2 the size of the older ones. Should I wait until the younger ones are closer in size to add them? Am I going to run into any teritorial issues?
Hmmmm. Any advice would be appreciated.

You usually don't see territorial disputes until the frogs are adults. If you do place the smaller frogs in the 55 you will have to feed much more so they get their share. Hope this helps.

Mike,

I don't think it would be a problem. A 55 gallon tank gives the frogs plenty of space. D. auratus do very well in groups as you know so there shouldn't be any problems. Just to be on the safe side monitor the frogs when you feed them to make sure the smaller frogs are getting enough food. You may also want to spread the flys around the tank giving them more of a 'fair chance'.

Sounds like a cool tank! Are there pictures?
