I love my frogs, but I could never be a frog. I couldn't stand the total lack of personal space. Imagine trying to eat or sleep with another frog standing on your head. Or you're just minding your own business when your buddy just jumps up and puts his toe pads on your eye. My azureiventris are the worst of all my frogs when it comes to personal space. They're always hanging all over each other. I've had all five of them jam themselves into a film canister and just hang out. Last night as the lights went out, I caught them in the photos below. One frog had to go to sleep with another frog's butt in his face!

Do you have any photos showing frogs totally ignoring personal space? Post them here. I think it'll make a fun thread.

My boys, snuggling in for the night. They slept together in this film can, all the time. You can see there is another can just across from this one. Empty. After trading one of them for a female, the co-sleeping stopped. She wanted her own can. :p

Sorry, pic taken at night through wet glass. The only angle I could see them.

These are some sub-adults I have they do this everynight right before lights out. When the lights are on they all do their own thing when it comes to bed time they gather just like this....One of them is a calling male. It is the same 3 every night there is a total of 5 in the holding/grow out tank.

I wonder if they "cuddle" because they are a little cold... I notice that when my temps are a little on the chilly side for frogs they sleep next to each other... just a thought

Here's another pic of my azureiventris. I've had all five of them jammed into this canister, but this time there's only three :) Also a pic of a couple of my green and bronze auratus in close contact.
