What is a good watertight sealer for wood? Something that wont kill my frogs. The wood will form the bottom and back wall of the viv so it needs to be able to stand the constant water.
Marine epoxy paint, it comes in 2 parts that you have to mix together before you apply it. Pretty nasty stuff, use a respirator while applying it with plenty of ventilation.
I second the vote for marine epoxy. That's what I used for my wood terrarium. Actually, I used fiberglass resin, then sealed it with marine epoxy because the resin bubbled too much and wasn't water tight. Just let the epoxy cure for about a month to let all the offgassing occur before you put any frogs in there.
