Hello everybody,

This is my 5 gallon (made today) mini vivarium, it's not finished yet..;)
Sizes are: 33 x 30 x 20 cm, so it's really small ;)

I made it from 2 mm acrylic and a piece of MDF board

I made it for fun and for 'testing'.
It seems very nice to me to make something like a 'tree', where plants and mosses can grow...

I hope you like it!

some pictures

Thanks for watching,

Sander Bos

An update :)

I've made something like a tree with PU and silicone and a cover of peat litter.

Here are some pics ;)

Maybe it looks a little bit massive, but i pressed the peat litter a few minutes ago, so the excess peat will be removed, than it looks better i thing :p

I hope you like it ;)

As nice as it is to work on a viv that you can walk into, there is something to be said for those really elegant looking and simple mini vivs/aquariums... Any ideas on plants yet?

Looks good! It seems like there will be lots of nice spots for plants on that tree form you made.

Thanks for the comments!

Another update from the micropalu, he's 'running' at the moment, i've planted some plants and cuttings, so let's see what it does.....

It's still not totally finished....the sliding windows and the shear profiles aren't as beautiful as possible so i'll fix that

One tip for myself --> use transparent silicone :p
Some places are not totally covered with peat, so now i see some white silicon :D
doesn't matter, mosses will cover it i hope

A little construction report :)

Any comments?
Hope you like it :)
