hey folks well i think it's the first time i post any of my personal viv pics but basically here's my home-made pumilio tank i've been using for the past year. The only frogs it has housed are the pumilio bastis and darklands. However I sold off all my frogs back in december due to traveling from my job for perieods of time. Anywho there's no frogs and haven't been any for quite some time now and all the plants are new in there. It was originally meant to be a borneo biotope but things changed fast.

It has all the bells and whistles - misting system, main waterfall in the middle, drip wall, and ventalation drafts. As far as plants goes the list currently:
Bromeliad neoregelia hybrids
ciscus discolor
creeping fig
cryptocorne lingua
cryptocorne wendtii brown
anubias barteri
anubias lancelota
nenphetes trusmadii lowii
polypodium formosanum
fontanus fissidens
silver lace fern pteris species
java moss
fern moss (i think)
sellaginella sp (?)
unknown dischida species
begonia soli mutata

There's alot more plants i've been wanting to get such as some of the epiphytic ferns as well as some other plants. Enjoy - I hope the pictures come up. sorry for bad quality.

thanks - it still needs alot more plants though before i consider it finished :) The only thing i have alive in there is just some mango puffer fish - that's why the water level is high. Once the plants come - ill take them out and lower the water level to a couple of inches

Re: 4' x 16" x 4' paludarium (8/14/11 update)

new update of my viv. Has inhabitants now and the plant list has changed.
I'm aware there's water but I assure you all precautions were taken for them and have not had a problem at all. Turned to be useless since they stay up top anyways since the flies and springs always roam up there. Nonstop calling though the day and night.

Here's the list of what's currently in there:

Bromeliad Mo peppa
Bromeliad Mariposa
cryptocorne lingua
cryptocorne wendtii green
cryptocorne wendtii tropica
anubias barteri nana
anubias lancelota
nephenthes trusmadii lowii
nepenthes ampullaria "brunei"
ephallaglossum (fine leaf and coarse leaf)
bucephalandra "kapit"
java fern "narrow leaf"
polypodium formosanum
fontanus fissidens
silver lace fern pteris species
java moss
fern moss (...what I was told)
sellaginella plana
sellagella erythrpous
unknown dischida species
begonia soli mutata
mimosa pudica
davalia repens
humata sessifolia
Microgramma heterophylla
pyrossia pillesoides
borneo water fern - those ones you can buy in tubes at petco
Huperzia carinata
christmas moss
perperomnia sp. costa rica

orchids:
appendicula purpurascens
epidendrum porpax
bulb. retusiuscullim
bulb.lassiochilum
bulb. lepidum
bulb. membranaceum
pleurothallis rabei
pleurothallis stricta

current inhabitants -
chazuta intermedius x 3
chocalate gouramis x 6
espei rasboras x 12
chile rasboras ( boraras briggatae) x 7
otocinclus x 12
clown killies x 6

enjoy

Hey Arman,

Very nice tank. Im glad I finally got to see it. It was like the hidden relic. You talked about it at the SCADS meets, but I never pictured it to look this nice. Good job!

awesome tank...I would love a cutting of this if you ever get extras

Microgramma heterophylla

Other Plants I forgot to add untill I took a look in the viv:

tillandsia ionantha
bolbitis heudelotii
bolbitis heteroclita (emersed growing)
marcgravia
micro java fern windelov
Microsorum sp. (black jungle)

orchids:
Schoenorchis fragrans

What kind of lighting are you using?
nothing fancy just a garden/aquarium and daylight bulb you can buy from lowe's home improvement store. I was going to switch to T5 lighting but it seems to been working well the past few months I'm just going to leave them.

Looks European, so pretty!
Thanks! It's all built from scratch here in america by me. I removed the front vent due to loss of humidity and changed the door from single sliding to double sliding doors. Now I just have a fan to control the humidity.

some more randoms - the espei rasboras are near impossible to capture with a regular camera.
