Can you explain how the tank is made? I'm curious as to what was used to "build up" the substrate.

very nice. You don't get to see a true waterfall in a viv very often

My husband did a very deep layer of Geolite with gravel on top. The water fall is built from the bottom of the tank and up. The base of the waterfall forms a retaining wall to hold back the geolite and gravel layers. There is no cement holding it together, he painstakingly fitted the rocks together. I got mad because he built up the substrate so high, but it still looks good.
