I was at a local hydroponic supply store to day and they had these lights that i havent seen befor there 125watt compact flourescent 6500k bulbs with the balast billt in for $68. they screw in to a larger plug that you could get a home depot for acouple bucks and just plug it in a regular 120v outlet heres the stores web site

Neat, but I bet with the attached ballast the thing gets real hot. Not to mention by the time you end up building a reflector/socket, etc., for the money spent you could probably get a 2X55W linear-biax PC kit, which would probably out perform the screw in bulb.

Everything has it's place though.
