2nd vivarium

2nd vivarium

The vivarium I built when I brought in a second pair of babies, meant to hold all four for (hopefully) a good while.

Planted with:
-Ficus microcarpa 'Tiny Limey'
-Ficus punctata 'Panama'
-Peperomia Prostrata
-Philodendron cordatum
-Polypodium formosanum

As winter arrived, the Ficus punctata has suffered since it's planted in spots that tend to dry out faster- now more than ever.
The Peperomia prostrata has suffered simply due to being grabbed at by little toad hands, stripping the leaves from the stems. It's also drying out too fast near the top.
The higher of the two Ficus microcarpa is planted in a shadowed spot that doesn't dry quickly, and I need to pull it as it's dropping its leaves.
The Polypodium is doing fantastic, however! It's one of my favorites for sure.

It's a vivarium I thoroughly enjoy, even if some things don't work out. Finding the right plants is half the fun :)
