Default 1 Eyed Red Eyed

I am gonna take on a 1 eyed Red eyed treefrog. Any tips for ensuring he feeds well other than night time tong feedings? Thanks

If you're feeding him crickets, pinch the crickets knees with metal tweezers really hard, the leg will fall off and they won't be able to jump. (Insert joke about pulling wings off flies... Hey, that would work too )

can he eat without tong feeding? Might be a little easier on him to eat out of a glass dish in his tank. I got 3 for $1 at the dollar store. They cant climb out and they wont be able to run from him.

I had a blind in one eye retf and she did fine hunting for herself. She ended up being my largest female and lived with me from about one month Oow to almost three years. Each is different, but I would see if he can hunt for himself.

I had a one eyed green tree frog that could hunt by itself. It had a little trouble so I would suggest putting the feeder in a dish your frog.

The glass bowl feeding tip is a great one. Since I've gone to bowls, I'd never go back. No cricket bites, you can count them to see how many they eat, easy clean-up, and no crickets eating your plants. They learn quickly to come to the bowl.
