Default Feeding red eyes

Does anyone have any experience feeding with dubia roaches? The closest place for me to get crickets is 20 miles away but I can have roaches delivered. I have played with the idea of just breeding my own but I live in a some what small apartment so space is limited

I tried dubias with the red eyes. They really don't take them because dubias don't move as much. I heard that red runners work great with them. I personally haven't tied it yet.

Is your source for delivering roaches limited to dubia? Green Banana Roaches are a good size and quite active to get the attention of the red eyes. Easy to culture too.

You can certainly try Dubia. It is worth a shot if you can avoid having to deal with Red Runners...

The trick to feeding Dubia is to pinch/crush thier heads with tweezers before feeding. They will stutter around and become easy pickings. They also won't freeze or bury themselves. The downside is that you can't return uneaten ones to the colony.
