So again I know that this is an old post but I thought I would answer just in case anyone else is searching. The only place I know of that has organic plants in the Houston area (and this is on the south side because I live close to Friendswood) is the bio dude. Most of his leafy plants seemed to come with a fire blight but the ones that people mount, the Bromeliads were nice that I saw that Repticon.

Houston area frogger, but I buy all my plants online...mostly through vendors on this site. I've had good luck with Glass Box Tropicals also.
