Default Ranitomeya First Time- Advice Needed!

Hi! I wanted to try to keep some ranitomeya pairs in some newly setup tanks, they are not done yet. I am still deciding which ones to get, but I want to know if it is ok to keep these guys in 12x12x18 exo terras. I have read mixed opinions, but it seems generally ok to do so. Does this depend on individual species though? Are some larger, or need more space than others? Also, are some much harder to keep than others?

P.S. I am not new to the hobby, I currently have O. Pumilio and Auratus in 2 other separate tanks.

I have a pair of Varaderos in a 13 x 13 x 18. They do really well, but I made sure to put in as many broms and hiding spots as I could fit. I'm pretty sure it's 2 males but as far as I know the females are more inclined to be aggressive. Mine are chill.

I recommend the varaderos, they are super bold and out all the time.

I keep imitator 'green' and 'Chazuta' in 1.1 pairs, one pair to a 12 x 12 x 18 Exo Terra. They do fine, and I don't think I would put a single pair in anything bigger. The Chazuta are shy, the green are bold, but that may be simply the individual personalities rather than locale differences.

Other Ranitomeya are likely different than the imis, but I don't know the specifics on others.
