Default Rabbits foot fern

Has anyone had any experience growing rabbits foot in a vivarium? I make sure to keep the rhizome out of the soil but every time I keep them in my vivs they seem to rot after a while or die completely back. I’m wondering if the conditions inside vivariums are simply too wet for them.

Mine like dryer conditions (for a vivarium) and grow epiphytically. They don't get directly misted and the media they are directly on doesn't get sprayed either. I have mine in medium to high intensity lighting.

I don't currently run active circulation but they grew faster when I did

Mine died when I first put it in, but since the rhizome was stuff stuff I just left it. It's grown back and is nice and healthy but it's stayed really small and grows really slow. I water once or twice a week and it seems to like it pretty well. I also have a fan going inside, but I've not noticed and difference in growth.

I figured that to be the case, maybe I’ll try and find it a dryer spot in the viv. I was lazy and got my plants from a package from joshs frogs, and they always seem to send plants that just don’t really fit in a viv due to size or requirements. Next time I’ll hand pick everything, this is the second time they’ve sent rabbits foot. Thanks for the advice !
