Default Adventure to my LGH

Ok I was pretty excited I found, what I think, is a jewel orchid at my local green house! My wife was pretty unenthusiastic when I told her about them but I was! Hopefully it is a jewel orchid though....if not then I'll feel pretty silly!

I hope I'm wrong but that doesn't look like a Jewel Orchid to me. Jewel orchid leaves sprout from the center, which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Here is a picture that shows how they form from the center.

To me it looks like Peperomia.

Although this one only puts off 2 leaves per nodule, not three.

Well that is a cool plant nonetheless. Do you know the real name of it? If you can find out, you will be able to better care for it.

Try Peperomia puteolata or Parallel Peperomia

I think that looks close.

I think it's the Peperomia puteolata. Looks really close! And the new growth is coming up the same way. Thanks so much! Kinda bummed it's not an orchid...

That's a nice plant for $5.

I love peperomias, you may grow to love them as well.

Could also be Peperomia Angulata, I have a hard time telling the difference.

I have some growing as houseplants and they're super hardy and fast growers! a great find for that price.
