Default need some plant ideas

Hello,
I'm redoing my boa constrictors cage and would love to get some real greenery in there. He obviously doesn't like it as humid as darts, more in the 60% range. Do you guys know of any plants that would be suitable for that type of environment? the cage gets sprayed down a couple times a week.
Thanks in advance for any advice. I know this isn't exactly a dart cage but I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas.
Thanks!
Max

um...fake ones! they will wreck anything living you put in there unless it's a tree. i have trouble keeping plants alive for my larger treefrogs, but for a boa the best you can do is fake. don't waste your money on live ones for them.

I would say things like larger Ficus could take it. The common Rubber tree may something to try. How big is the enclosure?

at the moment he's only in a a 40 gal because he's probably just about a year old. But plans for a much nicer and larger tank are planned for this summer.

the plants can't be too vertically oriented as he's not a climber so I'm going to keep his caging relatively squat so that it's not wasting space.

Will various epiphytes do well in an environment such as that? I plan on building up the back wall and want to do some planting there where he's likely not going to mess with it.

Thanks,
Max

i agree with harrywhitmore, the only thing that would work is trees.

You could use pothos and creeping fig. I use the pothos in my Dumerils' tanks. I do not have a background in their tanks, I just have them in pots and then draped over the branches. Sometimes they will get ripped up, but you just put them in another pot like a cutting. Your boas will get larger then mine but it shouldn't matter. BTW your boas are considered moderately arboreal. I wouldn't put them in a vertiacal tank, but in the wild they will be found in trees. Not to the same extent as ATBs or ETBs (I do also keep ATBs which are in fully planted vivs). Hope this helps.

i would be careful with any of the smaller plants like creeping fig, a snake of that size can kill a little plant like that in a second.
