Get a few different varieties of philodendrons, ive heard they really enjoy the larger leaves. Maybe a couple colorful broms in there to spice things up.

Lipstick Plant. That is the common name. - Dark vibrant red flower.

Also the Goldfish plant. Again common name. - Bright Orange flower.

Vines, Creeping figs are always a common choice.

Wandering Jew is EASY to grow, and it hangs, and can root VERY easily, BUT it needs to be cut back ALOT!

Those are some of my ideas.

Philodendrons are good, but leaves might be TOO big for a 20 Gallon.

pothos are another thing that grow and root everywhere, and spread quickly enough. in a few months you could get it to cover a good sized chunck of a 20H background. good luck

Thanks guys
I have a few "ruby red" philodendrons.
And i do believe I have a lipstick plant.
I measure the tank today it is 24 high, 20 wide and 10 deep.
So i have a little bit of height and not alot of depth.

Ill look inot the goldfish plant also to see what they look like

Goldfish plants(not going to look up the scientific name at the moment) do very well in vivs. With moderate to heavy lighting...... I started mine under shop lights an it grew tall and vine like. It's doing the same in the tanks I have it in now.

I have one in my 40 breeder with 192watts of cf and the other was a cutting from that tank placed inside of an exoterra with one of those new fixtures that they just came out with. I've had to trim a bit of the one that's in the 40.....it grows a little fast in there.

Goldfish plants are excellent in High humidity too, and are similar tot he lipstick plant, but need more light and brighter flowers, and easier to grow. Looks similar.
