Default back ground p[lants

What kind of plants can I get that grow on the back ground. I have one back ground that is tree fern panels and a few that are GS foam with cocobrick and what not covering them.
I have a phildodendron( wow i really screwed up that spelling) that has looked like it is growing on the glass( new roots and what not) I would like a few more that do that Kind of thing. I need something to cover up my not so great back ground attempt and i think the tank looks better that way
Any suggestions appreciated. ( or who has some appreciated even more)

This thread has several plant names in it that are good for backgrounds.

Vanilla you say? I pulled up some images on Google and those leaves look huge, how big are they?

The wild plant is a monster, but Iíve been growing both normal and variegated V. planifolia for well over a year and it just keeps producing inch long leaves with an 1/8Ē thick vine. In my viv it grows slowly and looks really good. I was once told of a plant that grew four inches in a day under optimal conditions! I havenít seen anything like that though.

I'm with you Chris! I received some of this in with some froglets I got from Josh`s frogs awhile back. I now have some in every viv I have! It looks great, turning purple under the small delicate leaves, grows like crazy, and is perfect for growing on/up the background of the viv.

What kind of conditions does it like? I have a 55 gallon with 60 watts of fl over it and the substrate stays fairly moist.
