I really like those little spiders like the one at the top of this page.
Am I wrong or they are jumping spiders?

Anyway, thanks for sharing

Thanks. Yes, the ones like the one at the top of the page are jumping spiders (salticids). The other more recent ones are orb weavers.

Here are my pictures of the fireworks I took. I like to take them from far away on bulb mode. At that distance the slightest shake of the tripod makes the photos look like abstract paintings and I love it.

These pics were either shot with my old Nikon D80 or My current Nikon D7000. I have used a range of lenses on these pics. But the most common one used is my NIKKOR 18-200mm AF-S DX VRII f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED. Its a great walk around lens when you don't feel like carrying a bunch of lenses.

That black moth is pretty cool looking, Dendroguy. I saw a really cool bee-mimicking moth today but was only able to get one photo of it before it flew off; and of course the eyes weren't in focus...

Here's one from today that I was happy about:

Nice shot! The trick with nectar loving insects is to wait for them as apposed to following them. I was waiting by a bush for 30 minutes in 90 degree weather before I found that Clouded Sulphur, and unfortunately I was wearing black. On another note, what camera/lens are you using?

Canon 40D. All the car shots posted were with a Canon 10-22 f/3.5 wide angle. Most of my frog/viv shots are with either my sigma 150 macro or my canon 50 f/1.8

Here's some more of my work...

This was from a recent trip to an endangered temperate rain forest, no darts in this part of the world though.

My cat in the sunset.

I had to add this one, I think its a great shot of my male San Cristobal.

And my job, glass blowing. Hope everyone enjoyed them.

Edit: I'll upload some of my orchid photography this evening.

My full time job is photography. Our studio shoots a lot of women in white dresses (weddings), high senior portraits, etc.

Shoot with a Nikon D4, D800, the trinity, an 85mm f/1.4G, and a 2.8 macro as needed. Fun times and whatnot.
