Default Mistking

I got a new Mistking system and had a question on the ST-24 controller. When I put it in auto it goes back to the main screen and the system turns on and shows this screen. On the right is counting down? Figured out the programming it’s just when I put it in auto and goes to the main screen it comes on and counts down? I don’t get it!!!

Did you try contacting Mistking about this?

I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out.

This is definitely not normal. Your picture notes that it is still at P1 meaning its not back to the main screen yet. After you put your setting to auto you should be able to keep hitting the 'set' button until you cycle all the way through to P9. At that point when you press the 'set' button one more time it will take you back to the main screen. It should no longer display P1 at that time.

If anything I have learned in movies is true, you do NOT want to be around when that timer reaches 0.

I recently installed a Mistking as well and was having similar issues. My problem was that I thought the right 'clock' when setting the program was when you wanted it to turn off, rather than the duration of the misting. Is this what you were doing as well? For example, in my case, I was setting it to come on at 4:00:00 and turn off at '4:00:20', not realizing that I was telling the system to run for 4 hours and 20 seconds.

Happens to most of us. I did it two weeks ago when I was changing a cycle

I just got online @ MK last night and ordered about a hundred bucks' worth of various parts (no timers - I go elsewhere for those). Point is - the lights are on up there. The order was turned around right quick, and had already shipped as of this morning. That's peppy.

So a call would probably be returned quickly, is my guess. I saw here recently where people were having delay issues, and others were saying "meh, just get his gear from a third party". The delay seems over.

I love MistKing. I don't get paid to say that. Ha ha.
