Default Embarking on a new journey

I am embarking on a journey to gett that piece of the jungle into my room. I have been missing and wanting it back for so many years.

I posted a while ago about having a perfectionist problem, when it comes to building vivariums. This time, I am working through it and decided to create a thread. To get input and share my final product eventually. Here it is the beginning of it.

I have a 30X high aquarium. I know I should use an exo terra. But I had the 30 high laying around and why not use it. I started out getting cork flats and a center piece of Malaysian driftwood. I am also creating just a little pond. Maybe a shrimp or two. With a few plants.

This is all I have so far. I siliconed the cork flats then sprayed Pond foam to hold them in place. Next step craving it. Then silicone tree fern fiber onto the foam.

After I created the pond barrier in place, which I am doing tonight. I'm not sure what to do next. So a little guidance would help. Will post pictures later.

Thank you all in advance.

Couple questions
Are covering it to a vertical tank?
Do you have a drainage layer?
Any three water "features" other then the pond (like waterfall, drip wall etc)
Do you plan on having any other animals in the tank in the future?

Good luck on the build!
