Default Exo Terra 36x18x36 tempered glass?

This has probably been answered, and I have drilled previously different sizes of Exo Terra, but does anybody know if the extra large 36 x 18 x 36 bottom is tempered glass? Thanks

Based on my experience with aquariums tempered glass is always labeled as such. One trick is to put on polarized sunglasses and to look at the glass you want to drill. If it has a strange, blotchy appearance it is likely tempered.

That's a great tip about looking through polarized glasses. I've done that a few times, but every time I need to get a baseline by looking at glass I know is tempered (car windows are tempered), just to remind my eyes what they are looking for. I just have a hard time seeing the wavy lines, I guess.

Based on my experience with aquariums, tempered glass is not always labeled, though. The only tank I ever broke while drilling turned out to be tempered (unknown brand 29 gallon), and that's when I learned the polarized lens trick.
