For a waterproof hygrometer probe you are likely going to be looking at hundreds of $ from an industrial scientific company. Easier and cheaper to just use a standard one and put either an upside down film canister over the probe or something like that.

I was referred Extech 445815 Hygrometer and it measures dew point. Have any experience with this?

I don't, but I see that it isn't waterproof, which you said you were looking for.

A quick Google search suggests that Solo is right -- there seem to be absolutely no hobbyist grade waterproof hygrometers. I get the impression that most froggers don't measure humidity, at least not 24/7; it is pretty easy to get a dart frog viv between 60% and 80% just by eyeballing it and watching the frogs' behavior. I use a couple different versions of something like this in reptile enclosures, but they are not at all waterproof -- spraying them just once is a pretty reliable way to wreck them:

https://www.amazon.com/AcuRite-01130...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

You might consider one of these just to calibrate your own intuitive feel for RH (put it in the viv once in a while just to see what certain moisture conditions correspond to what percent RH).

Just go with a standard remote probe and put it inside an upside down film canister. As long as your humidity does not go over 95% you should be fine. Even then it can be 'fixed' by drying it gently using a hair dryer from a couple of feet away to warm it up and then leave it for a day or two.

The humidity will go above that at times because I have a fogger and Mistking so that standard one will not work the one for like $7 I already tried that lol

Yeah I might go with one with a probe. I tried some that stayed in the tank but they last like 3-6 months so I realize a probe is probably the way to go. I'm still looking and if someone has one they think is good doesn't have to be the greatest then share the link please so I can see it!

Thank you for the help from all the comments so far!

Both the Mist King HT-24 and the InkBird HTC-200 probes will work just fine mounted inside an upside down film canister. This will protect them from the actual water from the fogger or the Mist King nozzles.
