Default Epoxies/paints for a viv?

I finally got back to my vivarium and have painted the background with a allegedly safe textured spray paint. I have a friend that used it in a tree frog enclosure with no ill effects. I would hoever like to seal it off with some sort of clear coat to protect it from leaching anything just incase. Any thoughts/ suggestions as to what would be safe to seal it with that is clear?

some people say GE Silicone I and some say II, but those, or the aquarium silicone, either way, they are all 100% silicone, so i think the GE's are better cause they are cheaper, plus if they were 99.99% silicone they couldn't say 100%.
