Default Where is the best place to place a digital humidity & temperature gauge?

Hi all!
Need your help with this.
My tank is an Exo 18x18x36 where is the best placement for the gauges?
I have a Flukers digital temp and humidity gauge.

Ideally I would say that the best placement would be at ground level because that is the place where your frogs will spend most of their time. Unless you get frogs that like to climb. However I have my gauges at the top simply because I think it looks better. I don't think that the difference between the temp at the top and the bottom of the tank is that great, unless it is a very tall tank.

I have used the Digital Panel Thermometer/Hygro off this site and like it. A little pricey though.

There is no "best place". Find out what the temp/humidity gradient is in your viv. Place it on the ground one day, up top another day. Move it around night and day to see what is going on inside with the lights on and lights off. That way you can better care for your frogs. Some temp gauges record the high and low in a 24/hr period.

Amphibians will use their environment to regulate their bodies. Sometimes frogs will remain on the ground because that is where it is the coolest or maybe most humid. They may not go up top because it is too hot or too dry.
