Default Vivarium lighting?

Is this light adequate for a 20 gallon tank on it's side(vertical, tallwise)?

Thanks-Luis

I have two of those. They get really hot. You would be better off with a regular 26w daylight spiral compact.

Ok, thanks for the input. Where could I get the 26watt screw in ones? Got a link?

Thanks-Luis

Ok thanks. Now where can I get the socket? Sorry for the dumb questions. I just want to do this the right way the first time around, unlike my reef tank.

Dang it! That too big. I would love to use it even though it's too big but I want to make a canopy for my viv. Where can I get just the sockets? Lowes? Are they just regular old light sockets?

20H or 20L? Both have been around long enough to be a "regular old".

If you want to use a screw in spiral, a clamp lamp dome fixture (under $10 at you're hardware store) works quite well, but don't look that nice in a living room for example.

It's the more square one. Not 20L. So looks like I'll be hitting up Lowes pretty soon. Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it.
